I've taken my textures as far as I can for the deadline. I'm looking forward to continuing and finishing it eventually with some proper textures!

I've completed the high poly, the low poly, UVs and bake and I'm onto the final texturing and rendering!

I'm working on my high poly this week and continuing to add and refine the details. I still have alot of refining to do but I've finalized all my moving parts mechanisms.
Also, I plan to add more of the finer normal details in the texturing stage.

This is my blockout update where I added all the main component attachments and took a look at my silhouette. Also tested the basic functions of how the spike knife, axe and flare would extend and retract. I started on this but had to come back to it after a while and this is where my blockout's at.
At this stage, I will continue to add more stuff to it while progressing the detail and assembly connections.
Also, I am testing the colors now and throughout the high poly stage so that when I get to texturing, the albedo colors will be mostly finalized.
I wanted to take this opportunity to create a gun weapon for my portfolio and saw these tactical shotguns that look really cool. I plan for my weapon to mainly follow the Mossberg 940 pro with some added attachments and features to be useful in the post apocalyptic world.
I will continue to gather references throughout the project and make changes but this is the general design and idea I'm thinking of & looking to go for. Also, I'm looking to go for a post apocalyptic world like the last of us.
