Well unfortunately I got busy for the last couple of days and I couldn't complete it in time! I will probably scrap the whole project or store it away for later. Good-luck to rest of the participants !

I finished all the sculpting stuff and baking stuff and now I am almost finished with texturing stuff !!

There were some changes made to scale, so every component fits perfectly and naturally and I am really happy with the results. I have started the uv process as well can't wait to share more stuff.

I took a brief break because of my mother being ill and had to drop the project a bit (had to take care of house and chores and other things), but I am now back I am almost done modeling the gun and I will move to texturing !

A little backstory about the weapon - In the year 2038, the world stood on the precipice of annihilation. For a while, several superpowers of the world were on the edge of war, engaging in economic strangulation, proxy conflicts, and military posturing. But no one had expected that the end wouldn’t come from human hands alone.

The catalyst was a border skirmish in the Arctic Exclusion Zone, where both nations sought control over newly exposed oil reserves. The details were lost in the chaos, but within moments, warheads were screaming across the sky. The world’s greatest cities-New York, Beijing, Moscow, London-vanished in fire.

As mushroom clouds climbed into the stratosphere, they arrived...

In the ruins of Moscow, something unknown and unrecognizable slithered from the fractured space-time left by the detonation. In Chicago, where a thermonuclear warhead had obliterated the skyline, survivors who were alive cannot forget the horrors that left them in agony.
Across the shattered continents, vast areas known as "REDACTED" emerged-places where space, time, and existence itself had become 'REDACTED'.

The governments of the world collapsed. The old maps had become useless-several regions of the continents became 'REDACTED' and were 'REDACTED'. In an attempt to regain order and peace, the remaining authorities sought to reform the law. On the other hand, the zone's survivors adapted by combining their own technology with that supplied in the exclusion zone. These places are not simply radioactive wastelands; they are "REDACTED", "REDACTED" that defies understanding. Some zones are growing. Others shift unpredictably, appearing in new locations as if they are alive.

Scientific progress exploded following the zone's emergence; new reality-manipulating weapons were developed to overcome anomalies and guarantee the researchers' safe return.

(REDACTED) - 'May god help us all'...........

In this challenge, I am making a weapon that has a bit of sci-fi in it. While futuristic and dystopian, the setting also incorporates elements reminiscent of bygone eras. The weapons that were made to deal with enemies and anomalies alike !
These are the references that gave me an inspiration for the topic of this challenge.
