Step 1 (Ref Collection!!)
Prop Item: Playel 1848 Grand Piano
Used by composers of the Romantic era such as Frédéric Chopin
I started my journey by looking for reference of this piano including the companies' graphic so that I can recreate in figma/gimp
There were some museum sites that had great angles I can use throughout the modelling process and also a couple youtube videos showing the piano in use
for mechanical ref if animation is desired in render step later
The reason I chose this piece was to challenge myself to sculpting the fancy trim and developing polished wood textures.
