Watercolor Paint box c1820 – Huda Gad

For this challenge, I chose an antique watercolor paint box. I was drawn to it because it carries more than age, it carries the presence of the artist who once used it. The little imperfections feel like traces of their process. I want to capture more than just the object itself. I want it to feel like an artist's companion that has lived through years of creating, carrying a small piece of that history with it.
