A few progress shots as i started to experiment with Dash' procedural scattering tools. As the cliff and ruins structures are hand placed, i used these assets as proximity objects to layer in some larger boulders at the foot of the cliffs, transitioning into gravel over several metres. I then drew a curve to outline a path up to the main entrance and scattered grass either side. From there i added some shrubbery to make the foliage more dense before building a thick forest to encompass the site. Additional foliage was also painted atop the cliff to greater give the sense of the site being hidden.
