Hello, I’m sharing a photobash that I made which is going to serve as my reference for the project. It’s quite simple, because I assumed it’s better to start small and expand it further, if time allows for that, than the other way around. I’m thinking of making my scene slightly stylized, ‘Disco Elysium’ - esque. I'll gather some style references for that in the upcoming days : )
Hi everyone, I'm very excited to take part in this challenge! I’ve wanted to make a personal project for a while now and this is a perfect opportunity for me to finally do it : ) I felt like the stars aligned perfectly for me since environments are something I enjoy creating.
I see a lot of other participants having very elaborate plannings and workflows already in mind, which is very impressive! For me personally this is going to be the first time building this kind of scene from start to finish, where I am responsible for making all the assets on my own. I still have a lot of figuring out ahead when it comes to how to approach certain parts of the project. Because of that, I want to be realistic and instead of aiming for a big and flashy scene, I want to focus on just completing the task within the given time. It’s kind of a trial for me to see what I’m good at and where I can improve the most : ) (Nevertheless I’m gonna try my best to have a nice result!!)
For the actual progress updates let me start by sharing a simple reference board I’ve been working on since yesterday. I’m going to be updating it along the way.
